Pet dog missing, woman and child flee after Reservoir house fire
A woman and child have been taken to hospital while a pet dog is missing following a fire in Reservoir.
MFB crews arrived at the Bolderwood Parade property at about 9am to find the weatherboard home fully involved in fire.
MFB Commander Mitch Symonds told 3AW News the occupants didn’t appear to have any obvious injuries but are quite distressed about their missing dog.
“The mother and young child have been taken to hospital, they seem to be OK but as a precaution they have been taken to hospital,” he said.
The blaze was brought under control within 15 minutes but the damage to the house is said to be significant.
