TEA ON THE SEA: Searoad Ferries are going all out for Father’s Day – offering a Bloke’s High Tea on ferries departing from both Queenscliff and Sorrento at 11am and 2pm on Father’s Day. There’ll be a specially created menu of sliders, pies and a paddle of beer for dad from breweries on both sides of the bay, plus sweet dishes to finish. YOU SPIN ME RIGHT ROUND: The Builders Arms Hotel’s famed courtyard rotisserie will be working double time to pump out a classic British roast for dad featuring O’Connor rump roast, ale-glazed carrots, beef fat potatoes and Yorkshire puddings. Stroll in and order a la carte or book a table for dad and the family, and dad’s first pot of beer is on the house! STOKING THE FIRES: For Father’s Day with a view, Stokehouse is offering a curated three-course menu featuring signature dishes plus limited Father’s Day specials including grilled half crayfish with lemon myrtle butter, sea succulents and aged Cape Grim rib eye, native cumminata. It’s prices at $130 per person. Kids dine for $60 which includes a main and dessert plus soft drink. WHAT’S YOUR BEEF: The Grosvenor Hotel is serving up my absolutely favourite winter dish for Father’s Day – Beef Wellington, with porcini duxelle, celeriac, madeira sauce and duck liver parfait. It’ll be available as a single portion for $35 on the day, or order ahead a shared dish for $92 if there are three of you.
