The AFL draft is in for a shake-up.

It will now be held across two days, starting this year.

Clubs will also be able to trade picks while the draft is taking place.

The AFL has confirmed the first round of picks will be televised on Thursday, November 22, with the remainder of the draft and rookie draft to take place on Friday, November 23.

This year’s event will take place in Melbourne, with the newly named Marvel Stadium the venue.
