Mum-of-three Samantha Fraser has been remembered as “very happy and very cheery”, with one colleague saying there were never any signs she was upset.

GP Dr Adam Wilson worked with Samantha, who was a psychologist, at the Cowes Medical Centre.

He contacted Neil Mitchell expressing his frustration.

“What really has hit home for me, I’ve followed the news like everyone with the same disgust at what’s happened to a number of young women in Victoria,” he said.

“It really hits home when suddenly you know one of these victims.

“She was loved by all at the clinic.

“She always seemed very happy and very cheery, nothing to indicate she was upset ever in any way, she was such a lovely person and always willing to help out.

“I think a lot of people are struggling the community are hit hard when this sort of thing happens.”

Police are appealing for anyone with CCTV or dash-cam footage that might assist in the investigation.

Detective Steve Sheahan told Neil police initially were called to conduct a welfare check at Ms Fraser’s home (above) on Monday, when she failed to pick up her three children, two young girls and a boy, from school.

“We’re also investigating as to whether there’s been interference with the crime scene,” Det. Sheahan said.
