A-League club in negotiations with Usain Bolt
Usain Bolt could play in the A-League.
The Central Coast Mariners have confirmed they’re in negotiations with the fastest man in history.
Bolt, an avid soccer fan, will potentially trial for six weeks before the club decides whether or not it will offer him a contract.
“There can be no losers here. Usain can come and trial and if he’s no good then they’ll give him some good feedback to where he can improve,” Mariners CEO Shaun Mielekamp said.
“If he does come and perform then great.
“From the coach’s perspective there’s only upshot here and opportunity.”
