It’s been revealed the man charged with allegedly painting offensive graffiti at Eurydice Dixon’s memorial is a comedian, known to some of her friends.

Andrew Nolch has been bailed by police to face the charges in August, according to a report in The Age.

He’s accused of painting lewd markings at the site of Ms Dixon’s Princes Park memorial.

The 31-year-old also posted about Ms Dixon’s death on social media, accusing the “mainstream media” of using her death as an opportunity to “brainwash everyone” into thinking “all males are bad”.

It was one of several rants he made about the tragic death on his Facebook page. Ms Dixon, herself an emerging comedian, was killed as she walked home through the Carlton North park on June 13.
