It’s believed board and staff members of the organisation that governs Puffing Billy have been encouraged to hand in their notice or face termination ahead of the release of an Ombudsman’s report.

The report will be tabled in parliament this morning.

The board is being shut down and will be replaced with a new one over the handling of historical sexual offending committed at the family attraction.

Investigative journalist at The Age Richard Baker has told Ross and John he suspects it will contain distressing information.

He said there would be some “distressing” detail in report.
