Lloydy’s hope for Jack Watts after he was dropped by the Power
Matthew Lloyd hopes Jack Watts gets “desperate” to win his spot back.
Watts was dropped for Port Adelaide’s clash with the Bulldogs on Thursday after playing the first 11 games of the season.
The former Demon has played 164 games but has never played a final, something which the 7th-placed Power is in the box seat to achieve this season.
Lloyd said Watts has to ask himself how much he wants to work for a chance to play finals.
“I hope Jack has thought to himself: don’t tell me I’m going to miss out again,” he said.
“I hope he wants to get desperate and win his spot back.
“I’m sure he thinks he does, but how much does he want to work for it?”
