Supporters of Geelong mall murderer lash out
Supporters of Geelong mall murderer Karl Hague have shoved, sworn and abused media after he was sentenced to 26 years behind bars for the stabbing murder of a teenage boy.
Hague himself also lashed out at a female journalist following the verdict.
The tirade continued outside, with a female supporter pulling her pants down in front of cameras while another swore.
Hague, 44, was found guilty of killing Ricky Balcombe at the Market Square shopping centre in 1995.
A Supreme Court jury found Ricky was stabbed as payback for damaging Hague’s car during a gang fight two weeks earlier.
He’s been ordered to serve a 20-year minimum.
