Respect on the roads disappearing: Assistant Commissioner
Victoria Police Assistant Commissioner Doug Fryer says road rage is on the increase and respect for other drivers is “dissipating”.
As reported in today’s Herald Sun a crazed drug-driver rammed a young family’s car off the road and stomped on the roof in a second extreme road rage attack on Saturday.
“We’re seeing an increase in the past few years,” Assistant Commissioner Fryer said.
“We are seeing this far too often.
“We see people just lose the plot and get themselves so worked up they don’t know how to de-escalate.
“The respect and courtesy on the roads appears to be dissipating.”
