Bus evacuated in the CBD in response to ‘suspicious item’

The area around the intersection of King and Lonsdale streets is safe.
A bus had been evacuated as a precaution after there were reports of an allegedly suspicious item in the vehicle.
The Bomb Response Unit attended the scene.
After an investigation, the area was deemed safe.
