Curnow brothers both sent to tribunal for umpire contact
Carlton brothers Ed and Charlie Curnow have been sent straight to the tribunal for making “intentional contact” with umpires.
The pair have been cited for separate incidents in the Blues’ win over Essendon.
It comes after Gold Coast co-captain Steven May was also sent to the tribunal for making contact with an umpire.
He was let off with a $1000 fine.
Patrick Cripps and St Kilda’s Jade Gresham both escaped with fines for “careless” contact with umpires.
North Melbourne’s Jack Ziebell has been suspended for one week for kneeing Reece Conca.
