Heavy rain has caused minor flooding over roads while damaging winds with gusts in excess of 120 kilometres an hour continue to lash parts of the state.

Wind gusts of up to 120km/h (Mount William) have been recorded in Victoria, with 65km/h winds (Tullamarine and St Kilda) in the metropolitan area.
