Collingwood captain Scott Pendlebury has been cleared of serious injury after hurting his ankle on Sunday.

Remarkably, the club says he’s still in contention to play against Geelong this week.

The gun midfielder spent the second half on the bench after hurting himself against Brisbane.

There were fears he faced a stint on the sidelines, however, scans cleared the five-time best and fairest winner of any significant damage.
