Matthew Lloyd says AFL is asking ‘too much’ of tacklers
Matthew Lloyd says the AFL is asking “too much” of tacklers.
It comes after Nic Naitanui was controversially handed a one-game ban for a tackle on Karl Amon.
“I just think you’re asking too much of the tackler,” Lloyd said.
“There was no malice in it.”
Gerard Healy said it was “incongruous” to suspended Naitanui, given the Match Review Officer’s decision to clear Ryan Burton over a bump on Shaun Higgins last month.
