Matthew Lloyd ‘very, very concerned’ about St Kilda
Matthew Lloyd says St Kilda supporters should be “very, very concerned” about the club.
The Saints have been one of the disappointments so far this season, winning just one of their first six games.
Gerard Healy asked Lloyd if he was worried about St Kilda’s pressure – a trademark of the club’s in recent seasons.
“I’m worried about everything, Gerard,” Lloyd responded on 3AW.
“Pressure is what they’ve got to stand for.
“If they don’t have that … I just don’t see how they win more than against Carlton and the Brisbane Lions in this competition.”
He then delivered a scathing assessment of where the club was at.
“I couldn’t name one player that’s really come on and improved,” he said.
“The skill level is as a bad as any team in the competition.
“They’ve got no leg speed, they can’t score – they’re averaging 50-odd points a game.
“I’d be very, very concerned.”
