Elderly pair die after Rosebud shooting
Police don’t believe anyone else was involved in a shooting that’s left two elderly people dead on the Mornington Peninsula.
The pair, aged in their 80s, were found in a car at a property on Adams Avenue in Rosebud at 4.30pm yesterday.
The woman had already passed away when crews arrived.
The man was flown to hospital with life threatening upper body injuries from gunshot wounds
He died a short time later.
The elderly pair are known to each other.
Police do not believe a third party was involved in the shooting and will prepare a report for the coroner.
