Former Richmond footballer to admit threats in court deal
Former Richmond footballer Jake King has made a deal with prosecutors and is hopeful of avoiding a conviction over his run-in with a former business partner of Tyrone Vickery.
King was charged with extortion and making threats to kill when he confronted Tony Mokdissi in May 2017 over an alleged debt linked to Vickery’s Hawthorn East restaurant.
Those charges have been dropped with the 34-year-old to plead guilty to threatening to cause injury and possessing testosterone.
He faced court on Tuesday.
