Sly of the Underworld has given 3AW Breakfast his tip on who is to replace disgraced former officer Brett Guerin as Assistant Commissioner.

“I know who I’d be appointing,” Sly said.

“It would be the fella known as Rocket, who virtually has never failed in his police career.”

Sly was referring to Superintendent Rod Wilson, but also said he thinks Victoria Police will want to replace Guerin with a woman.

“I think they’ll be looking at an eminently qualified senior police officer who is female,” Sly said.

“I think there’s a real push to get some gender balance.”
