Residents flea as flames burst from Hawthorn East home

Residents have fled a house in Hawthorn East after fire broke out this afternoon.
MFB crews arrived to find flames bursting from the second-floor of the large home in leafy Neave St.
The worst of the fire was contained to one room.
All occupants emerged uninjured.
The cause of the fire is not yet known
