The Philadelphia Eagles haven’t won the NFL for 58 years.

The closest they’ve come since their last triumph in 1960 is runner-up in 2005 and 1981.

Former Eagles punter (and AFL star) Sav Rocca told Ross and John a win over New England in today’s Super Bowl would mean the world to the city.

Rocca said fans were going crazy when he played off for a place in the 2009 Super Bowl.

“I’m sure those fans are taking it up a little bit,” he said.

New England is favourite to win Monday’s Super Bowl, but Rocca remains hopeful the Eagles can salute.
