Family dog goes missing after flight stuff up sends it to Sydney
A family dog has gone missing after it was accidently flown to Sydney instead of Toowoomba.
Neala Boyd is moving her family from Nowra in NSW to Toowoomba where her husband has been posted with the ADF.
To get her two spoodles to their new home safely, she enlisted the help of Dogtainers, an animal freight company.
During the trip, one of her spoodles, Simba, has gone missing.
Neala tells 3AW’s Tony Jones her family is distraught and are desperately trying to find their beloved pet.
‘He was last seen heading towards the Ibis Hotel in Sydney.’
‘My son is 14, he has Asperger’s and is really affected by this,’ Neala told 3AW Mornings.
She is told the freight company is trying their hardest to find Simba.
If they can’t located the pooch, Dogtainers have offered her a replacement spoodle…
