People affected by power outages could be entitled to compensation

Melburnians affected by the weekend’s power outage could be entitled to compensation.
Gerard Brody from the Consumer Action Law Centre told Neil Mitchell it’s because the outage wasn’t caused by unforeseeable factors.
“You can definitely seek compensation,” Mr Brody said.
“Whether you get paid or not will depend on the particular circumstances.”
