The Socceroos have a new coach.

Bert Van Marwijk has been appointed manager of Australia’s national soccer team ahead of this year’s FIFA World Cup.

He replaces Ange Postecoglou in the role.

Van Marwijk has a wealth of experience, leading his home country, the Netherlands, to the final of the 2010 World Cup.

He’s also managed Feyenoord, Borussia Dortmund and Hamburg at club level.
