Ian Chappell has questioned whether there’s enough talent in Australian cricket to sustain another BBL expansaion.

After growing from 35 to 43 games this season, Cricket Australia is poised to again increase the number of matches from 43 to 59 ahead of BBL|08.

Speaking during Macquarie Cricket’s pre-game coverage, Chappelli was doubtful if the league could sustain another increase in matches.

“I’m not sure whether having such an extended season is a good thing for the Big Bash,” he said.
