Woman killed crossing road in Elsternwick

A woman has died after being hit by a truck at Elsternwick this morning.
Police say the woman was walking along Glenhuntly Road when she was hit shortly after 11am.
The truck driver stopped to render assistance and is assisting police.
Glenhuntly Road is closed between Ridley and Gordon Streets.
