Police investigate drive-by Lovely Banks shooting
A nine-year-old girl and two women have emerged unscathed following a shooting near Geelong that police believe may have been a case of mistaken identity.
Multiple shots were fired into the home on Haugh Street in the Geelong suburb of Lovely Banks at 12am.
Police say a 54-year-old woman, a 34-year-old woman and a 9-year-old girl were inside at the time
No one was injured.
Police are investigating whether the shooting was the result of mistaken identity.
Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
