He spent his career telling us mostly bad news but now legendary former Channel Ten newsreader Mal Walden has written a book detailing Melbourne’s good news.

Mal told Ross and John he felt Melburnians could do with a dose of feelgood stories.

“It’s just I felt now was a better time than ever to instill a little bit of good news,” he said.

“It’s out there, it just doesn’t often get aired.”
