Luna Park cracks down on non-paying sightseers
No more popping into Luna Park to sightsee or use the bathroom for free.
Visitors will be charged entry to the Melbourne icon for only the second time in its history.
The $2 admission fee will only apply to those who don’t pay for a ride.
Anyone who does pay for a ride will get a $2 discount.
“Those fees will go towards assisting in the retention and protection of heritage features of Luna Park,” Luna Park boss Mary Stuart told Ross and John.
She said non-riding visitors are still very welcome, and the admission fee was being applied to avoid increasing the cost of popular rides such as the scenic railway.
