A Melbourne bride is searching for her wedding day hero who saved her wedding veil from Port Phillip.

Sarah was being photographed on Middle Brighton pier when the wind took hold and her veil ended in the bay.

HOW IT UNFOLDED IN PHOTOS

The wedding went swimmingly…

And the photos were lovely…

But then the wind picked up…

And the veil went for a dip…

In comes the precision fisherman…
