A man who was fined $159 for briefly stopping in a no-standing zone has questioned whether it’s fair.

Cameron told Neil Mitchell he was dropping his daughter off at school when he pulled up and noticed the sign.

Footage shows him in the spot for less than 10 seconds.

“Which was the time it took me to look up, realise I was in the wrong area, indicate and pull out,” Cameron explained.

His daughter never got out of the car.

Cameron said he was caught by somebody in a car behind him with a camera.
