Joe Daniher is ready to get behind to play AFLX.

All 18 teams will compete in the new format of the game in February, and Daniher said there could be a future for it.

“It is the right time for the AFL to try something,” Daniher said.

“If it’s a good product, it might stick around.”

Daniher said he’s “really excited” about lining up alongside new recruit Jake Stringer in 2018.

“I played with Jake a few years ago as a junior. He’s a good friend of mine,” Daniher said.
