Postal slips and personal customer information has been left scattered on a nature slip for days in Fairfield.

Word on the Street caller Tim believes a delivery driver dumped his postal slips with customers addresses on it in a bin on Monday.

“He put them in the bin, and our garbage trucks came by on Monday, they’ve been displaced so public customers’ information has been dispersed down Station Street,” he said.

He says some of the material left behind could breach privacy.

Tim says although it’s been identified by Australia Post as a “high priority” to clean it up, it’s still sitting there.

“I’m just really angry, I wouldn’t want my address being released to the public like this,” he said.

“After 54 hours no one has done anything.”

Australia Post has told 3AW Drive it will look into how this happened.

“We are investigating this incident, and thank the customer for bringing it to our attention,” a spokesperson said.
