Maximum security prison ‘locked down’

A maximum security prison has been in lockdown after a fault in the security system.
As first heard on yesterday’s Rumour File, inmates were restricted from moving around the prison and were confined to their cells for longer than normal over the weekend.
The Herald Sun reports it was a fault in the new security system at the Melbourne Assessment Prison.
The problem has since been resolved.
