Collingwood club doctor stripped of medical licence
Collingwood’s chief club doctor has been stripped of his medical licence.
The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency has placed Dr Chris Bradshaw on suspension this week.
The AHPRA register shows that Dr Bradshaw’s licence expired on 30 September 2017.
The Herald Sun is reporting that Collingwood is aware of the situation.
“Chris will not be fulfilling his role as Collingwood physician in charge while this matter proceeds,” the Magpies said in a statement to the Herald Sun.
Dr Bradshaw’s deputy Greg Shuttleworth is expected to take up the role in the meantime.
The AHPRA has “reprimanded” Dr Bradshaw under a section of the Health Practitioner Law that prohibits “impairment” or “unsatisfactory professional performance or unprofessional conduct”.
