Apex gang kingpin pleads guilty over series of crimes
An Apex gang kingpin has pleaded guilty over a series of armed robberies.
The Herald Sun reports 20-year-old Mahmoud Taha pleaded guilty to the armed robberies at two jewellery stores in the city and Coburg.
Police say he commissioned teenagers to carry out the terrifying crimes and went to a high profile Collins Street jewellery store owner to sell the stolen items.
He is said to have then used the proceeds to live the “high life.”
