A Dederang farmer has painted livestock on his property yellow and black.

The farmer, Corey Barton, told 3AW Drive he got some help from some mates after Richmond reached the Grand Final for the first time in 35 years.

“We all went up to the pub and had a few too many beers, to be honest!” Mr Barton said.

He assured us the cows are oblivious to their new colours.
