One Thornbury resident REALLY loves her suburb.

So much so that she’s officially made it her surname.

Che Thornbury, originally from Adelaide, told 3AW Drive she’d wanted to change her name since she was a teenager.

“I never felt so at home anywhere in my entire life,” Che said.

“With every passing day it became more and more clear that that’s who I was.”
