Salvias come in an array of colours, electric blues and vibrant reds.
There are over 1000 variates and range from 30cm to 3m tall.
The plant grows in all types of conditions, from wet to dry.
Salvias also have a beautiful scent.
You may notice the plant has a fine hair on the stems and petals, these help them hydrate, smell nice and protects them from animals.
