NBA star dominates as fill-in for social game in Melbourne
A handful of social basketballers at Greensborough got the shock of their sporting lives when they came up against one of the NBA’s hottest young talents on Monday night.
Melbourne-raised ace Ben Simmons is back home and in true Australian style came to the aid of a friend in need who was short for numbers for his local game at the Diamond Valley Sports Centre
Simmons, taken with the first pick of the NBA Draft last year, unsurprisingly dominated!
He finished the game with 34 points, guiding his friend’s team to victory.
Simmons is yet to play a game for the Philadelphia 76ers due to injury.
