Cutting your calories by a fifth could significantly reduce the risk of developing cancers, age-related diseases and even delay the ageing process, research has found.
The study investigated how a reduction in calories can delay ageing, although Associate Professor Rozalyn Anderson from the University of Wisconsin admitted you’d probably be left hungry.
‘This reduction in calories definitely seems to delay ageing, not just that, but all kinds of aged associated diseases,’ she told Ross and John.
