Child killed and three others injured after their car hit a tree at Cornella
A little girl has been killed and three other people have been injured after their car struck a tree in the state’s north.
Emergency crews were called to Cornella near Bendigo just before 5pm on Friday.
A three-year-old girl sadly died at the scene.
Paramedics treated a 61-year-old woman and a five-year-old girl, both were taken by road to Bendigo Base hospital in stable condition.
A 31-year-old woman was trapped in the wreckage for some time, she has since been airlifted to Royal Melbourne hospital in a serious condition.
