RUMOUR CONFIRMED: A northern suburbs home has been gutted by fire after the next door neighbour’s BBQ sent embers flying over the fence.

‘Bring out the Marshmallows’ tells 3AW’s Rumour File the Strathmore home and family car were completely destroyed after a rogue BBQ ember was swept up in a gust of wind. 

‘The lid was left off, the wind swirled, picked up the embers and delivered them next door.’

The Rumour File is told that as it was an accident, the victims are responsible for the damage.
