Collingwood forward Tim Membrey has paid tribute to the “incredible” fans of his new club in the wake of their impressive win over Sydney on Friday night.

The Pies were victorious by 31 points at Adelaide Oval, with Membrey kicking a goal and having 13 disposals.

Speaking to 3AW Football after the match, the former Swan and Saint said he’s been blown away by the atmosphere at the club’s games.

“It is certainly an impressive club and the fans are just incredible,” he said on 3AW.

“I’ve played a few games at the ‘G now and it’s just crazy how loud they are.”
