Rory Sloane’s fresh info on ‘unrepeatable’ Patrick Dangerfield slur

Rory Sloane says he’s mystified with the AFL’s decision to fine Bailey Smith after he flipped the bird in the direction of an Adelaide fan on Thursday night.
Smith was fined $1,500 for the gesture, which he has since clarified was in response to a slur directed at captain Patrick Dangerfield.

Sloane also revealed more information on the incident after he contacted Dangerfield on Friday.
“It’s a hard one to swallow for me that the AFL want to fine a player in this instance,” he said on 3AW.
“I spoke to Patrick Dangerfield and what this fan said was unrepeatable.”
