Isaac Quaynor has issued a blunt response to suggestions Brayden Maynard is about to depart Collingwood.

North Melbourne is reportedly making a big play for the hard-nosed Pie, who becomes a free agent at the end of the season.

When asked on Wide World of Sports what he’d say to Maynard if he floats his interest in leaving, Quaynor had two simple words.

“No way,” he said.

“He is the heart and soul of the club and we love him.”
