Nathan Broad has given his seal of approval on young gun Sam Lalor in just his fourth AFL game.

The three-time premiership Tiger is confident Lalor will continue to lead by example and was thrilled to see him step up against a difficult opposition.

“He’s made for the MCG, isn’t he?” Broad said on 3AW Football.

“He’s awesome, such a good kid. He went pick one but you just wouldn’t know it.

“There’s absolutely no ego there and it’s great to see these kids get rewarded.”
