Ross and Russ have spoken to one of the world’s best amateur golfers no one has ever heard of.

Nadene Gole has held the mantle of being the world number one senior women’s amateur golfer, with her exploits being discussed on The Rumour File in recent weeks.

The 56-year-old told 3AW Breakfast she was having “a lot of fun” after making a return to the sport after 20 years raising her two children.

“I’ve won four international events,” she said.

“I’m having a lot of fun.”
