Tom Elliott alerted to ‘odd’ Labor Party meeting involving Daniel Andrews and Penny Wong

Tom Elliott has been alerted to an “odd” Labor Party meeting which took place in the Box Hill Town Hall last night.
The meeting involved former Premier Daniel Andrews and foreign minister Penny Wong, but the event has caused a stir in the community.
“This meeting in the town hall last night is interesting for a number of reasons,” the 3AW Mornings host said.

Caller Craig was one of the attendees at the meeting last night, and shed light on more details from the event, and why there was uproar outside of it.
“It’s actually discrimination against people from their own country, it’s gobsmacking,” Craig told Tom Elliott.
Vice President of the Freedom Party, Greg Cheesman, also knew many people who tried to get into the event last night, but were denied entry.
Press PLAY to hear more on the meeting
“It was just an appalling display of how not to win votes,” Mr Cheesman said on 3AW Mornings.
A spokesperson for the federal Labor party says the event was organised to reach out to the Chinese community and “understand their concerns”.
“Connecting with multicultural communities is normal and important for any political party,” they said.
