A 3AW caller says she’s been sold “incorrect” tickets for Thursday night’s John Cain Arena session, detailing her long battle to secure her seat ahead of playing beginning.

The in-demand session includes Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis playing doubles, with Vicki paying over $200 for access.

After being stuck in a line with around 40 others in the same position, she rang Wide World of Sports seeking answers.

“I’ve been trying to sort this our for (over an hour),” she said on 3AW.

“We were sold incorrect tickets this morning.”

Bruce Eva said it appeared to be “monumental stuff-up” as thousands of fans converge on Melbourne Park for night session matches.
